Optimized layout management and new measurement possibilities in ibaPDA
Improved usability, enhanced layout management and new features: With the new basic version 8 of the versatile measurement system ibaPDA (Process Data Acquisition), iba AG optimizes the acquisition, recording and visualization of high-resolution process data.
The completely renewed Layout Manager now offers a central and convenient access point for the administration and configuration of layouts: Here, customized layouts can be created and assigned to the corresponding users with just a few clicks. In addition, the latest release offers the possibility to acquire and analyze GPS data via the NMEA-0183 communication protocol.
The newly implemented InfluxDB data store also allows to write time-based data continuously or triggered into an InfluxDB. With ibaPDA v8, the licensing of MARX dongles is changed to WIBU codemeter. Since a so-called soft license can be used here as well as a physical WIBU USB dongle - thus a USB port is no longer mandatory - the use of ibaPDA in a virtual environment is facilitated. The first thing that catches the eye, however, is the modernized user interface of the software, which comes with an adapted icon concept and has a positive effect on the intuitive operation of the software and also improves the overall look-and-feel.
